My name is Jan and I’m working as a linux admin / programmer for a local wholesales company, based in Germany. Sometimes I like to spend my free time with projects about selfhosting, home automation and other techy stuff.

This blog will cover a bunch of linux stuff, documentation about my projects, brain dumps and maybe the occassional glimpse into my life.

What’s graffl supposed to mean?⌗

graffl is short for “Geraffel” in german, which stands for “junk” or “rubbish”. So don’t take anything on here too seriously.
Aside from that, I just thought it’d make a funny domain name.

I decided to write the blog in english though, as I’m using the language for my notes anyways and this way it’s also accessible to a bunch of people that don’t speak german.
